Human-readable chicken scratch
Last weekend my family and I spent some time in Carthage, Missouri. On most vacations I go on, we spend a lot of time on the road, so I usually find some roadside points of interest to blog about after I return home. This trip was no different.
Besides the Daily, Stanford is home to a number of minor student newspapers, but by far the most notorious of them is The Stanford Review, the news-with-an-agenda publication that would praise itself as “America’s Finest News Source”, had parody paper The Onion not used the tagline first.
Google just released a free version of the 3D modeling application they bought last month. It looks like Google has the intention of really developing this software. Let me just take this opportunity to wax nostalgic and lament that Atmosphere didn’t strike nearly as much luck.
“These people just want to post pictures of themselves online? Couldn’t they be doing something better with their lives?”
So, yes, it’s been a long time since I last blogged. Well, longer than it should’ve been, at the least. My reason for not blogging is usually that I have too much work, which is also the case this morning, but let’s not forget that procrastinating runs rampant in these parts.
